Johto's biggest city and the center of an old empire, Goldenrod is a historic city known for its many festivals and house-sponsored events. The nobles are well-loved and celebrated for their generosity.
There was once a House Ecruteak, but they're long forgotten. All that remains is their city with its majestic architecture and traditional theater, and mythological significance, all of which easily attract tourists.
Olivine City is Johto's only major port that brings in goods from all over the world, although it exports little besides food. Sailors make up most of the population, creating a colorful and diverse local culture.
An isolated place, Cianwood City is the calm in the center of a storm, flanked by a great wilderness and Whirl Islands. The city itself is safe and functions for House Goldenrod as a guard for the islands and a sentry against invaders.
