LAND. They have a lot of land, but it's already been milked for its resources. Now it's only good for farming--and even then, the soil is running out of nutrients.

PEOPLE. Goldenrod owns mostly rural farmlands and even their cities aren't that populous.

FOOD. For now, the land in Johto is rich and arable.

TECH. There's this theory called radio that they're working on... but it doesn't exist yet.

CULTURE. If you die without witnessing a traditional Goldenrod Festival, you've never lived at all.

BOOZE. They make all varieties of top notch alcohol, which dramatically increases morale for next book.

LUXURY. The opposite of an asset, sorry to say. Luxury begins empty and must be filled with Wealth points. If Luxury isn't filled by the end of the book, the gap will be filled from points taken away from other assets.
